Matthew Han
Dancer/CollaboratorMatthew Han (he/him) is a Chinese and Vietnamese second-generation immigrant living in the San Francisco Bay Area. He began dancing to avoid PE in high school and ultimately fell in love with expressing what his mouth could never adequately speak through his body. After studying at San Jose State University under the tutelage of Gary Masters, Matthew moved to New York City and performed in small productions where he realized the competitive nature of auditions sucked the fun and passion out of the art. In 2018, he moved back to San Jose to recalibrate and, amid the height of the COVID pandemic, reignited his passion for pole dance and aerial arts. When he isn't working or in class, he can be found gaming at his computer or taking a long, undeserved nap in the middle of the day. Matthew is a proud advocate for the BLM, trans-inclusive feminist, and intersectional queer movements, and he is incredibly honored and excited to present Rogelio's big gay Latino spectacle.
