Luis Isiordia

Luis Isiordia is a dance artist from the Central Valley of California. With nearly 15 years in the dance industry, he finds passion, innovation, and creativity in all of his work. He has had the opportunity to work in this industry in its many forms, including live and virtual performance, as well as film. In spring 2023, Luis acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts from San Jose State University. It was while at SJSU that he trained under phenomenal professors and performed works by renowned choreographers such as Mike Ezperanza, Doug Varone, Camille A. Brown, Shlomit Fundaminsky, and Jose Limon. Apart from his academic work, Luis has also worked and collaborated with artists all over the country. A short list of these artists includes Misty RasconSmith, Mookie Washington, Enjoli Duvall, Andrea Miller, and Noe Rios. Luis also finds a passion for training as an aerialist, being trained by Kat Hughes, Irina Jang, and Rebekah Leach. He received his aerial certification from Jill Franklin of Aerial Physique in 2021. Within his post-college career, Luis has signed on as a company member with sjDANCEco, where he has been for three seasons. Apart from the company, he has worked with Bay Area choreographers Jenni Hong, Kara Davis, Natasha Adorlee, and, most recently, Rogelio Lopez.
